🐾 Introducing Marlowe's Pet of the Month: Rufio! 🌟
This handsome ten-year-old Entlebucher Mountain Dog—a relative of the Bernese Mountain Dog—is living his best life here in Chicago after moving from California. Despite his age, Rufio has way too much energy, which he burns off by dominating fetch at a near-professional level and attending doggie daycare. He's also famous for barking a cheerful good morning to engineer Mike every day! Once the workday is done, this energetic boy has a secret life as a couch potato, loving nothing more than cozying up for a cuddle with his beloved stuffed animal, Baby Rufio.

The annual Turkey Trot Chicago is the perfect way to earn that holiday feast and give back. This festive tradition takes place on Thanksgiving morning in beautiful Lincoln Park, offering scenic 5K and 8K routes along the lakefront. Bring your family and friends—costumes are highly encouraged!—for a fun, lighthearted run or walk. Best of all, a portion of the proceeds benefits the Greater Chicago Food Depository, helping fight hunger right here in our community. Check out highlights from last year!
