Chicago Air and Water Show
Get ready for one of Chicago’s absolute favorite summer traditions! The Chicago Air and Water Show is back to light up the lakefront skyline this August with high-flying jet demonstrations, spectacular aerial acrobatics, and thrilling water maneuvers. Located at North Avenue Beach—just 2 miles from The Marlowe (a quick 8 to 10-minute drive or scenic bike ride straight up the lakefront path!)—it’s the ultimate way to soak up the sun and experience peak Chicago summer energy. The action runs Saturday, August 15th, and Sunday, August 16th, from 10:30 AM to 3:00 PM daily, with the full practice rehearsal happening on Friday, August 14th. Grab your sunglasses, pack a blanket, and head to the beach for an unforgettable weekend—or skip the crowds altogether and catch incredible views of the jets zooming past right from our very own rooftop deck!

3 Challenges One Goal!
Whether you're looking to cross a major fitness goal off your bucket list or simply want to cheer on thousands of inspiring athletes along Lake Michigan, the iconic Supertri Chicago Triathlon returns the weekend of August 22nd and 23rd! As one of the premier multisport events in the world, the course takes athletes right along our gorgeous lakefront and through downtown Chicago. With distance options ranging from SuperSprint and relay races to full Sprint and Olympic courses, there is an event for every fitness level. Grab your running shoes to sign up with a neighbor, or take a quick trip down to the lakefront path (~2 miles from The Marlowe) to soak up the incredible high-energy crowd and unbeatable summer fitness vibes!

Bruce ❤️
Marlowe’s Pet of the Month: Meet Bruce!
Meet Bruce! He is a silly, high-energy 2-year-old Mini Australian Shepherd. If you happen to look at our patio, there’s a 99% chance you’ll see us there throwing a ball for him.
When he isn't chasing a ball (which is rare), you can find him getting a pup cup, hanging out on the patio at Clark Street, or intensely staring at you in the building elevator.
Bruce is a firm believer that a hard day's work deserves a reward, which he prefers in the form of cheese or wrestling with a toy that is comically too big for him.
Bruce loves living here and can't wait to make more friends in the building, just be prepared for the elevator stare!
